In this session, we will dig into what it means to be a STEM teacher for ourselves and the students we serve. Using resources and tools from Beyond 100K, and statewide input for Washington STEM’s next strategic plan, we’ll share and test out some of the themes we’re hearing about. Educators will leave this session with a deeper understanding of how their STEM teaching connects to long-term outcomes for North Central WA students, how to further develop their own identities as STEM educators, and open-source resources and examples for authentically integrating joyful STEM learning into their classrooms.
